Summit Learning Academy- Nourishing the mind, strengthing the body, cultivating the spirit.
Mission and Philosophy
At Summit Learning Academy, the mission is to nurture the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—through faith-centered, play-based education. I provide a safe, joyful environment where children grow academically, thrive in wellness, and develop strong character through meaningful relationships and daily exploration.
I believe children learn best when they feel known, valued, and free to explore. At Summit, we blend foundational academics with faith, wellness, and play to create a rich, developmentally appropriate learning experience. Our approach honors each child’s unique pace and gifts, with small-group, multi-age instruction that fosters both independence and community. Daily time outdoors, hands-on learning, and wholesome nutrition are central to our program—because true education should nourish the whole child, not just the mind. Grounded in biblical values and joyful discovery, we aim to cultivate curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our Values
-
Our curriculum blends structured academics with hands-on, real-world learning. Bible, math, reading, and writing are taught through engaging lessons, play, and projects. Science, history, and civics rotate by unit with storytelling, experiments, and exploration.
-
At Summit, faith is the foundation. Each day begins with worship, prayer, and Scripture, shaping both hearts and minds. We nurture Christlike character through biblical truth, loving discipline, and the fruits of the Spirit—guiding how we learn, lead, and grow together.
-
At Summit, real learning starts with real food. We serve nutrient-dense meals made from organic, whole ingredients—no dyes, refined sugar, or seed oils. Students help prepare food throughout the week, building life skills and a love for nourishing their bodies God's way.
